Properties

Bardahl EGR Valve Cleaner spray is designed to clean the EGR valve on gasoline and diesel engines. Restores air circulation in the starting system, improves engine operation at idle, provides optimum formation of the working mixture, reduces fuel consumption, prevents premature oxidation of oil.

Application

For diesel engines:

Aerosol cleaner Bardahl EGR Valve Cleaner recycling system It is important that when using the tool the engine is heated to operating temperature.

Start the engine and let it run until it reaches operating temperature. Set the idle speed at around 2000 rpm.
Disconnect the manifold intake pipe and spray 4 or 5 portions of the cleaner using short strokes, no longer than 1 second, as close as possible to the EGR valve. Wait 1 minute and then accelerate a few accelerations (from 2000 to 3000 rpm).
Continue spraying using items 1 and 2 until the cartridge is empty with short intervals between every tenth press.
For gasoline engines:

Start and warm up the engine until it reaches the normal operating temperature (until the cooling fan starts).
Remove the flexible pipe of the air intake system and completely spray the product.
