Permatex® Sensor-Safe High-Temp RTV Silicone Gasket Maker
The high temp first generation gasket maker formulated for oxygen sensor equipped engines. Temperature range of -65°F to 650°F (-54°C to 343°C) intermittent; resists auto and shop fluids.
Orange high temperature silicone sealant. Safe for sensors including oxygen. Maintains temperature from -54 ° C to + 343 ° C. Replaces most of the stamped gaskets, creating a reliable elastic seals. It is also used for application to stamped gaskets in order to increase reliability. Resistant to automotive oils and other technical liquids other than gasoline. Application: Clean and degrease surfaces. Apply the sealant evenly, bending around and looping the bolt holes, assemble. Grabs in one hour. Full cure after 24 hours.
