Permatex® Contact Cement Contact Adhesive is a high-performance neoprene-based adhesive designed for quick bonding of surfaces followed by reliable bonding. The product retains the necessary properties in contact with oil and water. Recommended for bonding rubber and bonding rubber to metal.

METHOD FOR PRACTICE 25905
Remove residual material, rust and dust from the surfaces to be bonded.
Apply glue evenly on both surfaces.
Stand for necessary drying for 10 minutes.
Connect surfaces and create uniform pressure over this area
Permatex® Contact Cement glue will reach 90% of its strength within 24 hours
When filling deeper cracks and chips, repeated step-by-step processing after 7-8 hours is necessary.
Completion of repair
To remove excess glue, you can use clean rags soaked in acetone.
We recommend using Permatex® Fast Orange® for hand cleaning.
