The STP® Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner diesel particulate filter cleaner is specially formulated to remove soot particles and combustion products from the particulate filter. Pour the contents of the bottle into the fuel tank when refueling (this volume is enough to handle 50-60 liters of fuel), repeat every 3,000 km. It is safe in combination with other STP additives and is suitable for diesel engines with a standard diesel particulate filter integrated or optionally installed. The use of this tool is not recommended for heavy trucks with filter traps that are constantly in regeneration mode. It cleans and restores the efficiency of the diesel particulate filter. Increases the soot burn-out rate at a low temperature of the diesel particulate filter. Restores the filter passability to exclude the possibility of further soot formation. It is most effective for vehicles that are used mainly in urban road conditions.
