Eurol Diesel Fuel Treat is designed to protect your diesel engine from tar, varnish, rust and corrosion in the fuel system.
Diesel fuel consists of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons, which is very sensitive to light and air. Diesel without any antioxidant is sensitive to oxidation.
Oxygen adversely affects diesel fuel, changing the molecular structure so that the cetane number decreases. Eurol Diesel Fuel Treat can prevent the deterioration of diesel fuel properties during seasonal or long-term storage, for example in a diesel hybrid, by improving oxidative stability.
Diesel fuel containing FAME (B7) is particularly susceptible to atmospheric moisture. When this aqueous mixture enters the injection system at high pressure, the vapor generated becomes a real problem.
A 250 ml bottle of Eurol Diesel Fuel Treat is recommended for use with 35-65 liters of fuel. Allow the Eurol Diesel Fuel Treat to go through the fuel system for several minutes to ensure proper distribution throughout the fuel system, and not just the fuel stored in the fuel tank. Before refueling, add the Eurol Diesel Fuel Treat to the fuel tank. For best results, use fuel that is likely to last for more than one month, such as in diesel hybrid cars.
