The grease is designed to reduce brake noise, vibration and sluggishness of the caliper parts by damping all physical vibration frequencies of the brake. It is blended from highly refined polydimethylsiloxane base oils and doped with the latest anti-rust, antioxidant and antiwear additives to provide long-lasting protection against friction, wear and corrosion. The grease is enriched with a high amount of a unique, high temperature solid ceramic lubricant. Ceramic powder and additives form a chemisorbed lubricating film on the rubbing surfaces, which is not destroyed in the boundary lubrication mode. This lubricating film provides protection against dirt, corrosion and uneven brake pad wear at extreme operating temperatures from -46 ° C to +1650 ° C.
The grease is compatible with most of the known thermoplastics and elastomers, including nitrile and ethylene propylene rubbers (EPDM, EP or EPT) used in disc brake calipers.
Meets the requirements of the Japanese standard JIS K 2228 for compatibility with nitrile and EPDM.
APPLICATION
The grease was developed as an anti-friction, anti-corrosive grease for all moving parts of the disc brake caliper of cars and trucks, the back metal surfaces of brake pads and elastomeric seals, effectively solving the problems of the disc brake caliper assembly.
Due to the fact that the grease is purely synthetic, with a high concentration of solid lubricating additives that form a dry lubricating film, operating in the boundary lubrication mode, it is an excellent anti-noise compound that prolongs the life of disc and drum brake pads, and relieves the driver of the car from the dissatisfaction of grinding and squeaking brakes. The high temperature characteristics of the grease make it ideal for use in ceramic brakes that operate at very high temperatures.
