Flux is used for brazing stainless steels, nickel, nichrome, aluminum, beryllium and aluminum bronze.
Fluxes are designed to remove oxides from the surface for soldering, reduce surface tension, improve the spreading of liquid solder and protect from the environment. During soldering, they protect the surface of the heated metal and molten solder from oxidation. This improves the quality of the soldering.
