Designed to convert rust into soil with a moisture-proof protective coating of a dark color. When applying the composition to a metal surface, its chemical transformation occurs with the formation of a protective layer. The drug improves the adhesion of subsequent coatings to the treated surface and prevents the development of sub-film corrosion.
The properties
The matte layer obtained as a result of processing the rust converter provides good adhesion (adhesion) of paints and varnishes.
Resistant to solvents.
Mode of application
Prepare the surface by removing any loose paint, dirt, crumbling rust, wax, etc. Use 50 grit sandpaper or a metal brush to remove loose rust. To remove dust, wash the surface with soap and water, then dry.
Protect surrounding surfaces from the product using a masking tape.
Shake well for 1 minute. Shake once a minute for 10 seconds. Spray the product from a distance of 20–25 cm with smooth, overlapping movements in thin layers. To obtain a smooth surface without smudges, apply 2-3 layers, taking breaks of no more than 2 minutes between application of the layers.
After applying the last coat, protect the surface from moisture and allow to dry for 24 hours, after which you can apply a primer-spray or paint-spray. If necessary, you can sand the surface before painting to obtain a more even coating.
After use, clean the sprayer by turning the bottle over and blowing off the head until the product stops flowing. If the sprayer is clogged, clean it with solvent, do not pierce with a needle. Wash your hands after use.
Additional Information
consumption: approximately 1 cylinder per 1–1.5 m² depending on the thickness of the layers
