Sensor-safe blue RTV
silicone gasket former is
one-component composition, polymerizing at
room temperature, designed to create
reliable gaskets for mechanical assemblies "directly on
place ". Used to form strong, flexible
silicone rubber gaskets as a result
curing in a humid air environment. Hinders
aging, weathering and
temperature extremes, does not crack and does not dry out.
Original "Blue" gasket former -
refined and safe for oxygen sensors
product. Complies with OEM specification.
ADVANTAGES
• Super adhesion and elasticity
• Safe for sensors
• Replaces most threaded gaskets
• Can be used to build or renovate
gaskets
• Easy to use
• Non-flammable and non-toxic
APPLICATION AREA
• Valve covers
• Control gear covers
• Differential covers
• Oil collectors
• Transmission pallets
• Water pumps
• Mountings for thermostats
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To create in situ spacer
1. Remove all previous content from
contacting surfaces. For most
materials other than plastic or painted
surfaces, it is recommended to use
Permatex Gasket cleaner.
2. For best results, clean all
the surface with a solvent that does not leave
sediment such as Permatex Brake Cleaner and
parts and dry them.
3. Cut the tip of the tip to the desired diameter
0.16-0.65 cm (0.3 cm is usually sufficient).
4. Remove the tip, pierce the tube or cartridge
and attach the extension lug.
5. Apply a continuous and even layer of silicone
onto one of the surfaces. First outline
inner contour of the gasket, then apply
compound around the bolt holes as shown
below:
6. Immediately reassemble the parts until the silicone is
dried up. Secure or tighten to the desired torque.
7. After the product has hardened, the tightening is not
required.
For repairing gaskets
1. Repeat steps. 1 - 4 of the previous section.
2. Apply a thin layer of silicone to one of the
glued surfaces.
3. Place the pre-cut spacer
on silicone film.
4. Apply a layer of silicone to another surface
cut out gasket.
5. Remove excess material and immediately
collect the details.
Note: It is not recommended to use:
this product as a head gasket
cylinder block or gaskets.
For the cleaning
1. Give excess material that has fallen onto
tip or tube, dry; while not
allow moisture to get on the product. For
subsequent use just remove
dried product from the tip.
2. Remove uncured product from parts and
hand tools with a dry cloth. When
film formation, remove most of the dry
with a cloth, and the remainder with Permatex
Gasket cleaner as above.
